Raffi Jamgotchian has been deeply rooted in the world of technology since childhood, influenced early on by his father, a mainframe programmer. His journey began with running a successful Bulletin Board Service (BBS) from his bedroom during high school, before earning a BS in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
His early career included joining a control systems manufacturer, where he contributed to the deployment of major distance learning and conference systems across the United States. In 1995, Raffi transitioned into the financial sector as an IT technician and automation specialist for a mid-tier investment firm, eventually advancing to Director of IT Infrastructure for the New York region. He played a key advisory role in emerging technology investments and led numerous large-scale integration projects, including the firm's first cybersecurity initiatives. During this time, he completed his MBA in Information Systems.
In 2006, Raffi helped launch a new independent investment fund. Two years later, in the midst of the 2008 financial crisis, he and his wife Aline founded Triada Networks to provide small investment firms with high-level technical, cybersecurity, and compliance support typically reserved for larger institutions.
In 2019, Raffi expanded his leadership footprint by becoming the Channel Chief for ConnectMeVoice, a Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) provider, while continuing to lead Triada Networks. He has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2005 and serves as a member of the U.S. Secret Service Cyber Fraud Task Force and the FBI’s Infragard. He is also the President of CompTIA’s Cybersecurity North American Community and actively participates in CompTIA’s Information Sharing and Analysis Organization (ISAO).
